Join DSA SF's Homelessness Working Group for a food service in Hayes Valley to serve food for our unhoused neighbors and/or hand out literature and flyers to passerby!

We'll meet at the Patricia's Green picnic area at the intersection of Octavia & Fell. Feel free to email homelessness@dsasf.org with any questions!

This will be a "potluck" style food service! We don't have a central location to cook so we'll be making the food in a distributed fashion.

VERY IMPORTANT: HWG will be coordinating the week before to assign dishes and make sure we've got enough food. If you sign up to cook and no one reaches out to you by the Thursday before the food service, assume that we have enough cooks. Please don't go out and buy food for the serve until you hear from us!

See below for a rough idea of the menu we're hoping to have. If you don't have access to a kitchen, don't worry - drinks, desserts, or pre-made salads all work great too.

Food Serve Shifts and Additional Roles

5:45-6:30: Help setup and serve / flyer 6:30-8:00pm: Serve / flyer and pack up I can't make the food serve, but I can drop off something beforehand.
